While I was doing some research tonight I stumbled across the redeveloped website of the Miami Worldcenter. Along with the updated website was some brand new renderings and animations of what the project is envisioned to become. I truly hope this developer follows through with the development. It will bring a great amount of jobs, people and money to the area. This page will become the permanent page for all information I collect about the Miami Worldcenter. In November of 2008 the Miami City Commission approved special district zoning for Miami Worldcenter, which is being marketed as one of the largest urban renewal projects in the country. The developers of the project - Art Falcone, Marc Roberts and Nitin Motwani would like to create a massive mixed-use project in Miami’s Park West neighborhood which will encompass nearly 30 acres behind Ten Museum Park, Marina Blue, 900 Biscayne Bay and Marquis. The project will be developed in stages, with the first phases to focus on hospitality, retail and civic space.
